Here at The Well we are excited to offer your family opportunities to connect with nature, yourselves and your community. We have many different classes, courses, groups and events scheduled throughout the year to boost your kiddos’ creativity, confidence, wellness and the wellbeing of planet Earth. We would love to invite you to try a variety of activities to see which ones fit you best.
Pre-school: 2-5 years
Lower Primary: 6-9 years
Tweens / Upper Primary: 10-13 years
Teens: 13-17 years
All of our age ranges are a guide only. We prefer parents and carers to enrol their children based on their developmental age not their actual age. If you are unsure if a class will be appropriate for your child, please speak to one of our friendly team members and they will direct you to the right classes.
Sensory Playgroup – A sensitive playgroup with no forced interaction or loud music. Gentle and open-ended sensory play for children including songs, soft play equipment, messy play and sensory toys. A great way for parents and carers to make friends and spend quality time with their little ones. These groups also suit kiddos with sensory processing issues or additional needs or those who feel overwhelmed by large, noisy group activities. Facilitated by Miree from Green Earth Kids.
Homeschool Connect – A social group for homeschooling families to meet, learn and play together. Indoor/outdoor activities, STEM, sensory and more. Tea/coffee/juice provided, BYO fruit to share. Facilitated by Miree from Green Earth Kids.
Tabletop Titans – Getting tweens & teens back into wholesome board games! Learn 1 to 2 new games each week. Games include the classics and brand new releases plus some role playing like Dungeons and Dragons. All games are age appropriate and a light dinner is provided. Led by passionate gamer Andy from Green Earth Kids.
Eco Craft & Play – Fun sessions where lower primary aged kids can make craft from natural and recycled materials as well as play with themed games and nature sensory play trays. The perfect mix of creativity and fun! Facilitated by Miree from Green Earth Kids.
Mindfulness Meditation – Mindfulness and meditation sessions assist with relaxation, stress relief and personal empowerment. They help to connect people with nature and with their deeper selves. Participants will feel increased peace, belonging and a greater sense of purpose through this gentle but powerful practise. Facilitated by Clare from Inspire U Hypnotherapy.
Yoga & Music – Children will love the creative poses, stretches and activities they explore in these interactive and fun sessions. Through the use of pictures, props and instruments Ros from Hearth Nature Play will help children to become calm and listen to their bodies while learning the basics of rhythm and music making with her fun and gentle approach.
Counselling – Our in-house counsellor Kaye Lock runs Balanced Kids Counselling. Kaye’s sessions provide a safe space for children, teens and their families to explore and seek to understand some of the challenges that get in the way of being our best selves. Balanced Kids supports each aspect of human development, focussing on mental, physical, social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
